The Role

Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of a Luxury Travel Consultant (Africa) include, but are not limited to:
- Holiday design, costing and presentation of a quote to the client so they understand it is something for them to buy.
- Taking the deposit payment to secure the booking of the holiday.
- Making booking arrangements with suppliers and assisting the Concierge team with any questions and other tasks related to your clients as necessary.
- Seeking out and producing new written and marketing content (when time allows).
- Keeping up to date with product and country developments in your specialist areas.
The Company
Founder Tom started Wayfairer having experienced poor wages and working conditions for porters whilst trekking in Tanzania.
He committed to starting a travel company which only worked with the most reputable suppliers, who were delivering exceptional serviceswhilst paying local workers a fair wage and in fair working conditions.
As the company grew that commitment to excellence saw the brand develop two key pillars to its ethos: luxury travel and responsible travel.
To this day our mission is to offer luxury holidays to our discerning travellers which benefit local communities andconserve nature.
We specifically promote local partners, accommodation options and responsible activities so that our holidays are mindful of their environments and fit within our core principles.

- Our commission is incredible, paid out monthly in arrears, uncapped and it's c. £12,000£15,000 per year for our top consultants

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Luxury Travel Consultant (Africa):
- Knowledge/experience of countries or region of specialty.
- Experience working in a similar role
- Strong communication skills and excellent telephone manner.
- Customer service & selling skills.
- Results orientated.
- Strong organisation & time management skills.
