:
Pharmacy Dispenser NVQ Level 2 plus
We are now recruiting for a qualified dispenser (NVQ2 minimum) to join our pharmacy team.

We are looking for an individual who will support the Pharmacy Manager and to deliver excellent customer service.

We are a home delivery pharmacy and your job role will include handling managed ordering for patients, dispensing of care homes (training will be provided if no previous experience), dispensing prescriptions, and general pharmacy duties.

As we are an online business we sometimes receive a lot of calls and answering the phone in a timely manner is paramount to serving our customer needs.

You must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in an efficient manner. Flexibility is expected where the business demands. We have a friendly team who will try their best to provide cover.

A polite and clear telephone manner is also very important as you will be answering phone calls from primarily elderly people who are often hard-of-hearing.

You will be expected to deal with patient queries.

Your salary will be based on experience and level of qualification and responsibilities you are willing to take on.

There will be an opportunity to become an accredited checking technician which will attract a markedly higher salary (this will be discussed during the interview).

The hours of business are 9:00 am - 6:30 pm Monday to Friday

We currently use Proscript connect.
Experience with this software is a bonus but not essential as training will be provided.

We need someone for a minimum of 16 hours per week. Increased hours will be expected when other dispensers are on holiday. You will need to be prepared to do more hours depending on the needs of the business.
