UNDER NEW BAKERY LEADERSHIP***Baking Production Operative - Sponge Cakes or Production Mixer Bakery

We are looking for new team members to help produce cakes with our team at Fatherson Bakery Ltd working in accordance with our Food Safety Standards.

Shifts available are Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm or 6am to 2pm. Overtime available at weekends.


Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Food safety whilst in production
• Health & safety whilst in production
• Work to the production schedule provided by Operation/Production Manager
• Weigh, mix and bake cakes to specific recipes
• Finishing cakes to specific recipes
• Preproduction and Postproduction equipment checks
• Correctly complete paperwork for traceability of ingredients
• Clean as you go plus cleaning between batches to avoid cross contamination
• Must be able to work in a team and have a "work family" ethic, looking out for colleagues and the interests of the business. Selfmotivated, energetic, team player with a enthusiastic personality and a determination to produce cakes to a high quality finish, not a "that will do" attitude. Well presented and efficient, must be able to lift up to 25kg (finished product and bags of ingredients).

Specific Job Skills:
Must be able to communicate with co-workers and work well in a team. Must also pay attention to detail, to maintain the company's high quality cakes. Must be able to read English and follow written instructions.

All personnel will be supervised during their 3 month probation period.
