About the role:

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our business Lycetts Insurance Brokers in Newcastle.

The purpose of this role is to provide Reception and Administrative support services within Lycetts Head Office. This role holds responsibility for the delivery of telephone and reception duties as well as general office administration.


Key responsibilities
***:

  • To provide an efficient, helpful and professional initial welcome to Lycetts for those visiting the office or making contact by telephone.
  • Greet visitors promptly and courteously and provide refreshments. Ensure that the Lycetts contact is aware that a visitor is waiting.
  • Manage the booking system for meetings and associated facilities, liaise with the ground floor concierge team to ensure they are aware of all planned daily visitors, and ensure that the meeting rooms are prepared correctly with the relevant resources prior to a meeting and cleared away once a meeting has finished.
  • Coordinate the opening of incoming post and deal with, and frank, outgoing post.
  • Ensure that all reception facilities and public areas within the office are kept tidy and well organised at all times.
  • Assist with travel and hotel bookings as appropriate and directed.
  • Assist with courier collections and deliveries.
  • General administrative tasks as directed, working with relevant Management Services teams predominantly and/or broking and financial services teams when required

Knowledge, skills and experience
***:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent personal interaction skills, the role will include interactions with clients and colleagues based in Newcastle and beyond.
  • Experience of data input
  • Appropriate IT skills
  • Wellpresented, hardworking, proactive team player with initiative
