At Intertrust Group, a CSC Company, we are looking for a Head of Team/Associate Director - Client Solutions Delivery to join our Corporate Legal Solutions business unit.


The Position


The Client Services Delivery ("CSD") Head of Team/Associate Director will provide leadership, management and support to the client accounting, tax reporting/compliance and co-sec team as they complete day to day activities in managing and administrating their respective services to the Private Client and Corporate Services teams ("CLS") as well as the Funds Business Unit.

You will ensure the three teams work together in order to ensure that the work is conducted in a collaborative, risk managed and commercial manner.


You will ensure that all services are provided in accordance with the relevant client services agreements, procedures and the various laws and regulations pertaining to the Group's Guernsey regulatory licences.


The key responsibilities for the role are noted below and as a Head of Team/Associate Director you will also be expected to undertake any such duties that are deemed a reasonable requirement, for example, leading any relevant projects that are related to the role.

In addition, you should act as an ambassador for our company, actively participating in business and social events as required.


Your Responsibilities

  • Develop plans and strategies for the longterm success of the department identifying areas for improvement and efficiency;
  • Engage with the teams and wider business to ensure a collaborative approach by all team members in the delivery of services;
  • Ensure that all services are delivered and managed in a proactive and timely manner and in accordance with the relevant Client Services Agreements, procedures and the various laws and regulations pertaining to the Group's Guernsey regulatory licences;
  • Risk Management identify and manage risks; put in place mechanisms that reduce or mitigate exposure within the department.
  • Ensure any Guernsey and Group projects are delivered, ensuring deadlines are adhered to and successful implementation is achieved. Act as a champion for, and lead the department through any changes;
  • Ensure delivery of all management information and reporting to the board and business;
  • In collaboration with the team leads, manage all communications as and when required;
  • Engage fully with the performance review process, provide feedback in a constructive manner throughout the performance year and at annual appraisal, ensuring staff personal development plans are in place where appropriate;
  • Proactively keep an uptodate awareness of current industry issues, Laws, Regulations and reporting requirements and have an awareness of how these might impact clients and/or our internal procedures.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

  • Evidence of relevant experience in regulated finance or professional services;
  • Strong people management skills and experience;
  • Solid understanding of the business and markets applicable to the business;
  • Qualified accountant;
  • Additional relevant professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA would be an advantage
  • Solid IT technical skills; and
  • Drive personal development using all the resources available to achieve success.
