Warehouse Operative

Location:
Unit 6F, East Midlands Distribution Centre Short Lane, Derby DE74 2HA

Hours:
Monday - Friday 40 hours a week (07:30 - 16:30)

We're searching for a skilled Warehouse Operative to join the team at our Klober site in CastleDonington. This is a permanent role.

The Klober Product ranges covers Ventilation, Dry Roofing, Underlays, Valleys and Abutments and Lead-Free Flashings.

The role:

You will be working both as part of a team and on an individual basis in a warehouse and an outdoor yard, in an end to end warehouse and logistics operation which involves a multitude of different processes and procedures.

Your work will be of the highest quality standard and you will be customer focussed, whilst working safely at all times.

Key responsibilities:

Ensuring a safe and clean operating environment in the warehouse and yard for colleagues, visitors and self
Loading and unloading of vehicles
Order picking and quality checking prior to despatch
Stock replenishment
Physical inventory counts
Returns processing
Shipping label creation

Person profile:

Experience of working in a Yard/Warehouse
Good English reading/writing skills
Good maths skills
Good verbal communication
Basic computing skills
Good spatial awareness
FLT licence desirable but not essential
Ideally have experience using SAP processes (e.g. booking in, stock checks, order returns etc)
Strong communication skills
Strong proactive focus
Ability to drive performance
Ability to manage a high volume of workload and have a flexible approach
