Community Integrated Care is on an exciting journey of transformation and growth and we are looking to recruit an experienced Employee Relations Specialist
to join our People Team based in Widnes.

This is a full time, permanent post and you can be based anywhere in the North West but must be able to travel to our office in Widnes as and when required.

Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:


Day to Day you'll be:

You will be part of a centre of excellence providing expert advice, coaching and support to our regional people teams.


This is a wide ranging, varied and challenging role which will suit someone who wishes to develop their specialist experience in employee relations and enjoys dealing with a range of different case work such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, TUPE, medical capability, redundancy and restructure and flexible working.

The role will involve the creation and delivery of training to upskill our regional people teams and operational colleagues.

You will also contribute to organisational projects around continuous improvement to help us support 'Best Lives Possible'.


Your values:


We are looking for an individual who is able to offer pragmatic advice and support which builds the knowledge and skills of our regional people teams and leaders and enables them to make effective and informed decisions.


  • Proven experience of managing complex employee relations cases and have a full and detailed understanding of HR policies and employment law.
  • Experience of writing policies, procedures and guidance materials
  • Health and Social Care sector experience is desirable
  • Experience of creating and delivering training in the effective management of ER matters
  • Redundancy, reorganisation and change of terms processes experience
  • Experience working in a high volume, fast paced commercial environment
