Azure Architect | Outside IR35

Azure | Azure DevOps | Terraform


SR2 has been engaged to support a major Azure-based transformation for a managed service provider on an initial 6 month contract with a view to extend.


We are looking for an Azure Architect to come on board, lead from the front on best practices, Ways of Working and strategic support on the tech landscape.

You'll be working closely with a team of Azure engineers, Architects and Developers providing architecturalsupport and inputs on the tech direction coupled with identifying opportunities to leverage new tech that could help enhance current services.


We are looking for someone who ideally comes from a Dev background working up to Architect level and has experience owning and leading the design and implementation of complex cross-functional Azure Applications and services.


Skills/Experience

  • Experience designing and developing Enterprise Applications using Cloud Native tech in Microsoft Azure
  • Managing Agile Development/DevOps teams
  • Strong DevOps background and experience working with but not limited to:
  • Git, Azure DevOps, Artifacts, Terraform, Azure Boards etc
  • Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Designing and developing microservices architectures and solutions
  • Containerisation
This role has fantastic longevity, is _
OUTSIDE IR35_and paying £500-£515p/d.
