Description

We are looking for a Plate Saw Operative with an accompanying FLT license to join our client based in Milton Keynes for a 12-week Temp to Perm contract.

The role will involve measuring and cutting metal with the use of a Plate Saw to fulfill customer requirements. optimizing a cutting plan to minimise waste, and Setting the cutting dimensions and blade speed. Fill out the relevant paper (basic) and Use of FLT C/B or RT to move supplies within the facility.

This role is ideal for an experienced Production/Assembly Op with an accompanying FLT license.

If you feel competent with using a machine and are happy with manual work, this is a great opportunity to join a small company on a permanent basis.


  • To cut Aluminium Plate to size on Flat Bed Circular Saw and or Vertical Bandsaw.
  • Calculate the optimum cutting plan to minimize scrap
  • Set Saw with cutting dimensions and blade speeds
  • Complete paperwork for finished orders (Basic information)
Salary is £12,00ph

The working week is 40 hours paid.

Shift time is Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm.
