Description

Receptionist (Term time only + 2 weeks) office based, permanent, £17527-£17960 doe, for busy College in Brighton, East Sussex based, working Monday-Thursday 7.30am-3.30pm and Friday 7.30am-3pm.


This is a varied role to include:

  • To oversee the 'front of house' area and ensure all visitors receive a warm welcome.
  • To always project a professional image of the College.
  • Answer and direct all incoming phone calls.
  • Process and distribute incoming post and frank outgoing post.
  • Issue ID passes for students, staff and visitors.
  • Assist in the upkeep of student and staff records, ensuring all safeguarding checks are completed for agency staff
  • Organise and store paperwork, documents and computerbased information.
  • Order stationery and first aid equipment.
  • Assist with the management of student lockers and keys.
  • Assist with organising meeting rooms and ordering refreshments when required.

Experience required

  • Previous reception or administration experience is essential.
  • Excellent IT skills, with good knowledge of MS Word.
  • Personable and confident when dealing with the public.

Receptionist, Brighton based, is required to work Monday-Thursday 7.30am-3.30pm, Fridays 7.30am-3pm in School Term Time plus 2 weeks. So, if you are looking for 10 weeks holiday a year to fit in around other commitments such as family, this could be ideal
