Primary School Classroom Assistant - Slough
We have a great opportunity to join a fantastic Special Needs School in central Slough. The role will be working as a Primary School Classroom Assistant to support children with behavioural and learning difficulties. This is a full time role from Mondayto Friday, 08:30am to 4pm.


You will ideally have experience as a Primary School Classroom Assistant but you must have some form of experience working with children in any capacity.

The Role:


  • As a Primary School Classroom Assistant you will need to look after children's physical, social, and emotional welfare
  • You need to be able to adapt your approach to learning based on the learner's needs as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
  • Help prepare learning resources and assist the teacher with daily activities
  • Support pupils both in and outside the classroom either 1:1 or small group of learners as a Primary School Classroom Assistant

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Classroom Assistant is ideal but working with children in some form of capacity is required
  • Available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm as a Classroom Assistant
  • Available immediately to work as a Classroom Assistant
  • Either live in Slough or be within a commutable distance

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
