Mon-Wed 07:00-18:00 / Thursday07:00-16:00

£22,000 - £27,000

My client is a tooling manufacturer on a global scale and is currently on the lookout for a CNC Machinist to join their team.

As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for running both CNC and manual machines to produce goods to standard specifications using drawings, MPS and CAD/CAM systems.

As part of the role you will also be responsible for ensuring machines are run in the mostefficient way to produce components right first time every time.

There will also be Cross training provided on other machines as and when required to ensure a broad range of skills across the department.


Main responsibilities as a CNC Machinist:

  • Set up and Running CNC and manual machines as required
  • In process inspection of components.
  • Cross training on other machines as required.
  • Basic TPM activities as documented.
  • Reporting of quality issues to supervisor and or QC manager.
  • Reporting of machine issues to supervisor.
  • Actively involved with Lean projects as a when required.
  • 5S maintaining the areas in which they work.

Key skills required as a CNC Machinist:

  • Skilled in either Milling or Turning
  • Experience in using various measurement equipment.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Team player.
