Edinburgh City Centre is seeking a motivated
Receptionist / Admin Assistant to join their dynamic team.


  • Join a dynamic team in a central Edinburgh location.
  • Engage in a varied role that offers exposure to multiple departments and tasks.
  • Enjoy a worklife balance with Monday to Friday hours from 9am to 5pm.
  • Take advantage of 20 days of annual leave, plus 8 public/bank holidays.

The role of Receptionist / Administrator:

  • Operate a bustling switchboard, efficiently connecting calls and directing inquiries.
  • Ensure the reception area reflects our commitment to quality by maintaining a pristine and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage mail collections, as well as the distribution of incoming office deliveries.
  • Keep petty cash in check through weekly reconciliation and monthly journal entries.
  • Prepare and serve beverages for meetings, reflecting your attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Coordinate essential office maintenance, ensuring a seamless working environment.
  • Place orders for office supplies to maintain optimal operations.
  • Provide invaluable support to various departments by tackling adhoc administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to our talent acquisition efforts by posting recruitment advertisements for our Public Houses.

The ideal Receptionist / Administrator:


  • Possess an excellent telephone manner, creating positive interactions with callers.
  • Demonstrate a high level of organisation and a polished appearance.
  • Showcase strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with team members and external contacts.
  • Thrive in a fastpaced environment by adeptly multitasking and prioritising tasks.
  • Exhibit proficiency in MS Office Suite to effectively manage administrative tasks.
