Purpose of the role:


The Accounts/Admin Clerk is responsible for assisting the team with general accounts duties to enable the Group Accountant to produce timely and accurate monthly accounts.


Scope & Relationships:


Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will work as part of a team within the centralised Accounts function, providing support to Managers and colleagues across the Ensinger Group.


Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


  • Handling customer credit/visa card payments on the card machine and posting out the receipts.
  • Responsibility for managing and administrating the process of matching fuel receipts to the weekly reports for all companies.
  • Opening new customer accounts for all companies. Obtaining the necessary trade references and credit reports whilst also ensuring that all details for current customer accounts are consistently updated.
  • Chase monies due for all Companies.
  • Posting Sales Invoices onto the relevant portals.
  • Post sales ledger cash for Elekem Ltd and chase monies due.
  • Scanning of all accounts paperwork.
  • Assisting all team members to answer telephone calls into the accounts department in a professional manner.
  • Primary Reception/Admin cover.
  • Carry out any other relevant duties as and when required.

Essential Experience:


  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Previous experience of using a computerized accounting system.
  • Previous experience of working within an Accounts/Admin environment.

Personal Profile:


  • Precise attentiontodetail skills and numerical accuracy with strong data entry and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritise and work flexibly to achieve deadlines.

- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

From £22,500.00 per year

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
