We are currently recruiting for an Employment Advisor to join our team. You will provide tailored support for our job seekers and support them to succeed in meaningful, sustainable employment.
If you have a sales or recruitment background or have worked in an environment that involves problem solving and helping others, this is a fantastic opportunity that will allow you to utilise your skills to influence, support and encourage others to build a future.
This role is predominately will be delivered within the community and therefore working from home as a base and being able to manage your own time and workload efficiently and flexibly that meets the job seekers needs is essential.
- Hold and manage a caseload of job seekers at different stages of employability.
- Work with people who have a learning disability and or autism, their families and circle of support to identify their employment and career options.
- Understand each person's interests, preferences, abilities and support needs and to facilitate and coordinate the personcentred employment planning process.
- Develop individually tailored pathways into employment.
- Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism
- Recruitment or Sales background would be advantageous but not essential
- Working knowledge of employability training and current thinking in this field
- Ability to turn employer need into a jobseeker opportunity
