AVPlacements are looking for skilled Aircraft Mechanics and Fitters for a fantastic opportunity ongoing in the Cambridge shire region.

Shifts: 4 on 3 off

Job Summary:

As a Skilled Aircraft Mechanic/Fitter reporting to our client, you will be involved in working on aircraft main and sub-assemblies from detail parts, whilst embracing appropriate assembly techniques, tools and fixtures, in accordance with the appropriate technical data and competencies.

Responsibilities:

Adhering to full compliance of the work instructions and/or standard operating procedures; without compromise to their own and colleagues safety
Exemplifying a safetyfirst mindset and follow all the clients Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards
Actively identify safety concerns; making problems immediately known to their Team Leader and raise improvement ideas to solve problems utilising Kaizen policy.
Being an active member of the team, promoting collective engagement with each other.

Help the client make a difference, you'll bring your passion and expertise/ talent for what you do along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:

Mechanic / Fitter experience in Commercial or Military background is preferable
Proven ability to read and understand drawings, processes and procedures
Adherence to all necessary regulatory quality standards and customer specifications
Demonstrable experience in the aircraft manufacturing industry fitting; using both metal and composite materials.
Ability to work as part of a small, close team
Effective communication
