Service And Small Works Engineer is required to work for a Security Company that provide a full range of services in the security and fire industry and deliver cutting edge system solutions.


Formed in 2011 The company was setup so that they could improve the way security services are offered, installed, and maintained in the industry.

Our client believe the way in which they operate and the technology they use is what sets them apart from competitors.


The successful Engineer will be joining an experienced team who service and maintain security and fire systems and associated technologies.


Service And Small Works Engineer Responsibilities

  • Routine service of equipment
  • Fault finding, investigation and repair of equipment.
  • Configuration/commissioning of equipment
  • Providing support, guidance, advice, and training to other Engineers
  • Review of system design before commencement of works
  • Kitting up jobs and checking / testing of equipment at the office
  • Installation including containment, cabling and kit.
  • Liaison with office and administrative staff
  • Attendance at training courses
  • Liaison with clients
  • Handover of systems to clients including training
  • Site surveys
  • Creation and/or completion of necessary documentation
  • Completion of timesheets

Service And Small Works Engineer Requirements

  • Proven service experience
  • Minimum GCSE level grade A-C (or equivalent)
  • Engineering Experience is desirable.
  • Excellent ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Computer literate
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
  • Ongoing Training provided.
  • Security Clearance / DBS will be provided.

Service And Small Works Engineer Remuneration

  • Salary £25,000 to £33,000 depending on experience.
