The Post:

We do this by providing a range of specialist support services that enable NHS Boards to focus their efforts on delivering health improvement and patient care.

The core purpose of the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service is to meet the transfusion needs of patients in Scotland.

In support of this, we are committed to a range of programmes that will enhance the service provided to NHS Scotland in bother clinical and operational areas.

An opportunity has arisen within the Quality team supporting the Manufacturing, Transport and Warehouse departments at the Jack Copland Centre.

The role has a broad area of responsibility encompassing blood component manufacture, donation testing, procurement and logistics. The post is based at the Jack Copland Centre, although there may be a requirement to visit other sites.

Applications are invited from individuals who are educated to Degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (e.g. biological science).

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
