Description

Co-ordination of PSIRF documentation including taking the lead to allocate, oversee and support the trust investigation panels, responding to timelines as required.

Co-ordinate initial PSIRF panel meetings and act as point of contact for staff in relation to liaison, meeting, sharing, and feedback.

Active participation in the care group Quality Governance meetings.

To undertake audit and projects as appropriate in order to strengthen Governance processes and structures within the Patient Safety team.

To provide guidance to senior managers, investigating officers and other staff members in relation to the investigation processes. Assisting with governance processes in relation to responding to CAS alerts. To advise and support clinical and support staff regarding Clinical Governance processes and expectations.

To assist with the coordination of activity and work to ensure that the Patient Safety team are is aware of new and upcoming monitoring standards.

To ensure that the Trust responds in an informed and appropriate manner to those agencies requiring governance information.
