Registered Manager - Brand new service - 4 bed EBD Children's home - £45K

Hampton's Resourcing are proud to be working exclusively with a Specialist Children's Residential Services provider to help them source a highly experienced Registered Manager to assist with the opening of a BRAND-NEW service

This is an exciting, new challenge for a highly experienced Registered Manager looking to take on full autonomy

The Permanent Salary:
£45K + £5000 welcome bonus

  • Bonuses for Service Manager roles can be earned 3 times a year (once every 4 months). A Service Manager achieving an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating can earn a 7% (of salary) bonus and a 'Good' rating would be 5% of salary, 3 times a year (so an additionalearning potential of 15% or 21% of salary)._

Main responsibilities and duties
:


  • Full autonomy of setting up the service with the opportunity to mould the home.
  • Responsibility for the management of safeguarding children and young people, risk, and service governance
  • Following robust and highquality reporting and recording procedures
  • Ensure that children and have access to services which meet their health, education, social, psychological, and emotional needs, and wellbeing.
  • Monitor outcomes and progress for children in accordance with their care plans.
  • Management supervision, reviewing and monitoring standards, and practice development.
  • Reviewing care and service plans to ensure care is being delivered effectively.
  • Working with commissioners, local authorities, and health practitioners

Experience and qualifications
:


  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or willing to work towards)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in children's residential.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Registered Manager in an Ofsted regulated home.
