Description

Manage primary transportation (deep sea) on behalf of the customer and ensuring that all operational targets in relation to Service, Quality and Productivity are met at all times.

• Manage export booking process for named customer
• End to end responsibility to ship and deliver to customer requirements
• Where necessary selecting approved suppliers whilst considering cost
• Manage documentation across various systems to support the process and provide visibility to all Key Stakeholders within the Supply Chain
• Accurately recording information about shipments (collection date/time, ARC numbers, customer data input ) and cross check with external sources when necessary (shipping line website ) to support Customer & Internal Reports & KPIs
• Maintain excellent lines of Communication and in a proactive way with Customer and other Stakeholders, ensuring they are fully updated with any delays or issues that may impact the requested ship/delivery date
• The jobholder may be required to undertake additional duties as the needs of the business dictate.
