SAS Security Products is a family-run company based in Burgess Hill, manufacturers and distributors of security products, predominantly to trailer and caravan dealers throughout the UK.

The long-established company has been totally rebuilt by new family-owners and is now experiencing a swift growth period, putting pressure on the current small team.

We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Operative, to start as soon as possible, and take responsibility for the warehouse role.

You will need to be prepared to be fully accountable, not afraid of working hard including handling of heavy boxes (up to 32kg) and operate forklift, as well as having an eye for accuracy and detail.

Experience of good warehouse housekeeping would be a benefit, but more importantly displaying an honest, willing and positive attitude and a desire to learn and work as part of a team to exceed goals.

Whilst our products are produced for us in various factories around the world, some products require some final assembly work before despatch.

Whilst this work is straightforward, a technical/engineering aptitude would help.

Whilst the warehouse role is currently a part-time role, there maybe other tasks that a willing person can turn their hand to, such as office and telephone work, delivering and installing display stands in our dealers showrooms, etc...

Initially looking for somebody Monday to Friday, but may offer additional work during busy periods.


The main role would involve:

• Picking, packing and dispatch of goods via carrier (Main task)
• Receiving, checking and putting away of goods in
• Operation of forklift (after suitable training)
• General housekeeping in the warehouse
• Adhering to workplace health and safety rules at all times
• Stock taking

Essential skills and experience:

• Good level of fitness for this highactivity role
• Good timekeeper and able to work under pressure
• Forklift licence (training provided)
• Honesty, enthusiasm and a willing attitude is essential

Salary:
£10.00-£12.00 per hour
