Our client is currently looking for an Apprentice Accounts Assistant to join their busy team
The Apprentice Accounts assistant will be an important member of the Designated Medical team, responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate invoicing function within the company for their clients.
The Apprentice Accounts Assistant will use the Microsoft-based suite of products and cloud-based software packages including Xero and specialist software packages designed for the medical sector.
The Apprentice Accounts Assistant will possess exceptional organisational, communication and time management skills, and be able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
Apprentice Accounts Assistant Duties:
- Working collaboratively with the team including the Medical PA team and the finance team to ensure all invoices are accurately raised promptly.
- It is vital to ensure that all invoices are settled promptly either by the patient or by the insurance company.
- The Apprentice Accounts Assistant will be responsible for managing credit control and ensuring all payments are chased and settled.
- The Apprentice Accounts Assistant will be required to produce monthly financial reports for each client.
Training they provide:
The Apprentice Accounts Assistant will undertake the Level 2 Accounts or Finance assistant training course over 12 months.
Training specific to the role will also be given by other members of the team based in Bristol and by the line manager.
