    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Prudential Risk Manager to join our consultancy team in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The ideal candidate will have experience in risk management, particularly in credit risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk frameworks.

    Job Description

    The successful candidate will be responsible for rolling out our prudential risk framework across the organization, supporting clients, and building key relationships with business areas.

    This is an exciting opportunity to challenge yourself in a complex environment, working closely with C-suite executives and business users to implement policies and ensure adherence.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and write policies that meet regulatory requirements, demonstrating a thorough understanding of Prudential Regulations.
    • Collaborate with 1st and 2nd lines of defense to embed policies and ensure compliance.
    • Build relationships across business areas to drive policy implementation and ensure user adoption.
    • Work from the top down, partnering with stakeholders to implement policies and ensure their effective execution.

    Requirements

    • ACCA / ACA or CIMA qualification.
    • Experience in credit risk, liquidity risk, or operational risk frameworks, including ICAAP and ILAAP reporting.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

    Working Arrangements

    This role offers flexibility to work remotely but requires occasional visits to London, Birmingham, or Manchester offices.
