Community Engagement Lead (Gambling Treatment Service)

We are looking for a full time (35 hours per week) Community Engagement Lead to work within our Gambling Service.

Based - Devon

Salary - £25,808 - £27, 529

The role is to work as part of a team, promoting a greater understanding of gambling harms and creating partnerships within communities to tackle them.

Community Engagement Leads will work in a hybrid way and upskill professionals to be able to provide better advice, support and referral opportunities to Ara treatment services.

Some of the key tasks for this role include:

Identify and develop community-based partnerships to ensure a joined up approach to tackling gambling related harms that engages vulnerable clients earlier.
Improve Ara's outreach into regional communities by working within local services to raise awareness of gambling harms and facilitating improved access for early engagement and interventions, as well as structured treatment.
Train a wide range of organisations through Ara's bespoke 'Bet You Can Help' programme to help individuals identify gambling harms and signpost people to local services.
