We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid forklift and/or gantry crane license.

The role will be in the Warehouse/Stores department and your duties will include, but not limited to:

Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles.
Dealing with incoming and outgoing goods.
Operating warehouse equipment such as forklift, gantry crane and pump trucks.
Maintaining accurate inventory records, performing regular stock checks, and reporting discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Using the computer systems and Microsoft Office.
Picking and packing products for weekly collections.
Assisting with general duties in a busy factory environment.
Ensuring that housekeeping and Health and Safety standards in the warehouse are maintained at all times.

Attention to detail and good organisation skills is a must and previous warehouse or packing experience is advantageous, but full training will be given to successful applicants.

Transformers & Rectifiers Ltd is an independent British company and specialist world leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of liquid filled, cast resin, and dry type transformers and transformer rectifiers.

We also manufacture products for radiotherapy equipment used for the treatment of cancer all over the world.

Requirements:

Valid forklift license
Mechanically orientated
Good communication skills
The ability to work alone or as part of a team
High attention to detail.

Remuneration & Benefits:

£12.98 per hour starting rate

25 days annual leave, excluding statutory holidays

Hours of Work:

Full-time, permanent 39 hrs per week, with the opportunity for overtime if available. This is following completion of successful probation period.

Monday - Thursday

Friday

30 minute lunch break (unpaid) and two 15 minute tea breaks
