Think Specialist Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading organisation based in Hemel Hempstead.

We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a dynamic and vibrant team of hard working employees who are on the look out fora new team member to help with their busy work load.

The Position:

Fast and accurate entry of supplier invoices
Proactive management of a large portfolio of supplier accounts
Verification of invoices including price and quantity checks
Collation of all relevant backup documentation and approvals including ensuring costs have been charged on to customers where appropriate
Negotiating credits where needed, challenging incorrect invoices and raising queries
Resolving queries with suppliers and internal contacts
Reconciliation of supplier accounts to statement
Preparation of supplier payments within deadlines
Resolving queries with department managers
Previous Purchase Ledger / Data entry experience in a high volume environment
Use of MS Office programs excel, word, outlook
Experience of working with SAP is desirable however not essential
The ability to work on own initiative and under pressure, with efficiency and accuracy
A personable individual with excellent administration and organisation skills
Confident, possessing an excellent telephone manner with clear and concise communication skills both verbally and written, as well as face to face
