Nottingham, Head Office (hybrid working, 2 days a week onsite in the office)


Salary:
£25,000 - £27,000


We have an exciting opportunity to join our Intermediary team as an Intermediary Support Officer Our Intermediary team build effective broker relationships and support our purpose to help customers own their own homes by representing our front-line Intermediary Enquiry Line.

The team focus on promoting the Nottingham/s Intermediary proposition gaining loyalty through an excellent customer and broker service experience.


You will join a small, fast-paced and supportive team where you will receive full training and management support to be successful in your new role.


Here's a taste of what you'll be doing as an Intermediary Support Officer at The Nottingham -

  • Communicate with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure all customer journeys are smooth
  • Contribute to the Society's Intermediary lending objectives through the ability to communicate the Society's lending criteria/policy with Intermediaries
  • Obtain broker feedback to identify improvements of service, systems, procedure and policy to drive continuous improvement
  • Keep abreast of the market and any mortgage industry updates to ensure knowledge is up to date to support you in role and to influence opportunities for change

  • A strong mortgage background with a solid understanding of the lending industry
  • The ability to work in a fastpaced environment where the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders is key
  • Adaptable working style to ensure objectives are met whilst prioritising workload in in line with team capacity
  • Great collaboration skills bringing engagement, energy and inclusivity to our delivery activity, helping ensure that we fully utilise the breadth of skills across the team in a fun and effective way
