About The Service

An exciting opportunity has risen to join the Flood and Coastal Risk Management Team to support the delivery of Cardiff Council's statutory duties as the Sustainable Drainage Approval Body (SAB).

This role will involve a high level of interaction with stakeholders, including; Council Members, public, contractors, external organisations and other Council departments.

The post holder may be required to work outside normal hours from time to time, including evenings and weekends.

What We Are Looking For From You

Qualified to a degree level in a relevant discipline, or similar qualification in civil engineering, or be able to demonstrate equivalent professional work experience in this discipline.

Comply with all required legislative and Health and Safety obligations and Council policies and procedures

Participate, on an 'out of hours' stand-by rota.
