Concrete block plant Operatives and Forklift drivers.
We have a new vacancy's for an Operative's to join our team at our Caledonian Pavers Concrete Product Factory in Renfrew.
Key responsibilities of the General Operative will include: becoming fully competent in the operation and maintenance of automated Concrete block paving plant and equipment, breakdown and preventative maintenance working towards continuous improvement.
As a General Operative you will inspect, carry out and ensure that plant routines are regularly adhered to and that the cleanliness of the plant mechanism, plant area, adjacent buildings, and equipment are at all times properly and regularly inspected, cleaned in accordance with site instructions.
What will you bring?
- We are looking for a highly motivated General Operative with drive and enthusiasm to work as part of team.
- Physically fit capable of manual labour, including lifting and carrying 20kgs for short distances
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Previous experience within a similar industry
Job Types:

Salary:
£10.00-£10.50 per hour
