An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established plant hiring company based in Leicester. We strive in having an enjoyable working environment for all members of our team.

Meynell Plant Hire, part of the Jelson Holdings Group, are a Leicestershire based business that have been established for 60+ years

This is a full-time position to support the growth and function of the Meynell Plant Hire Finance team. The role will require you to provide support to the Finance Manager with business accounting activities.

Your key tasks will include:

Daily Entry of Bank transactions to cashbook
Posting Cashbook to the accounting system
Raising Sales Ledger Invoices
Making Purchase Ledger payments
Coding and Processing Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger Invoices
Credit Control
Supplier Statement Reconciliation
Scanning cashbook invoices unto Accounting System
Supplier Statement Reconciliation

Dealing with customers and Supplier Queries
Provide support & cover to the Finance Team
Petty Cash
Wages
Credit Card
Maintain Account reports required by management, in line with your position

Requirement's for the role include:

Good time management
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge of MS Excel (Vlookups and Pivot tables)
Effective communication skills both written and verbal
Accounts Assistant experience
