Salary:Grade 2
£20,812 per annum pro rata**We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our committed team.
We are looking for someone who is dedicated, always keen to learn and develop and can show a positive commitment to the children and staff in our school.
- Ensuring that both school kitchens are producing meals for our children that are nutritious and of the highest quality
- Ensuring that both school kitchens are operating the same routines and procedures to the expected standards
- The ordering of food/resources across both sites in a timely manner whilst ensuring quality, best value and continuity of service
- Managing the catering team across both sites, including arranging the necessary cover for absence
- Developing accounts with catering cover agencies and liaising with them to provide the relevant level of cover where needed
Ideally, we are looking for someone who:
- Is suitably well qualified and has experience of managing a busy school kitchen
- Is a strong communicator with adults and children
- Is reliable and hardworking
- Has the skills to work independently and collectively
- Is proactive and solution focused
