A very exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Liaison Psychiatry Team in Southampton.

The Southampton Liaison Psychiatry Team has recently aligned to the national Core 24 model, the service is now developing to meet the Hampshire and IOW mental health transformation priorities.

As such, the admin team is expanding their provision to provide an extended administrative service 7-days a week, 365 days a year across three different shift patterns.

This is to better support the clinical team and members of the leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our exceptional, enthusiastic Liaison Psychiatry team based at the Princess Anne Hospital, covering the Southampton General Hospital site.

This role will include working a varied shift pattern of 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm and 1pm-9pm across a 7-day week, 365 days a year.

Liaison Psychiatry is the sub-specialty which provides psychiatric treatment to patients attending general hospitals, whether they attend The Emergency Department or are admitted to in-patient wards.

Therefore it deals with the interface between physical and psychological health and predominantly works to ensure the delivery of safe, client focused care.
