    SENIOR LADIESWEAR FASHION DESIGNER – OCCASIONWEAR

    Full-Time | Office-Based | Central Manchester

    Designing for top high street names: River Island, NEXT, ASOS & more

    Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for elegant occasion wear and over 6 years of industry experience?

    Join a thriving Manchester-based ladieswear supplier designing trend-led collections for some of the UK's biggest fashion retailers.

    About the Role

    As a Senior Designer, you'll take ownership of your own brand, lead design projects, and collaborate across departments to bring fresh, trend-driven occasion wear collections to life.

    You'll be at the heart of the creative process, shaping the look and feel of garments worn for life's most special moments — from weddings to red carpet occasions.

    Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

    Creating original sketches & detailed tech packs

    Leading fabric selection, print, and embellishment development

    Conducting trend research & presenting seasonal direction

    Overseeing sampling and working closely with in-house and overseas teams

    Collaborating with QC, buying, and senior management to meet brand goals

    What We're Looking For:

    6+ years of design experience in occasion wear or womenswear

    Strong Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop skills (CAD experience essential)

    A deep understanding of fabric, trims, and garment construction

    A keen eye for high street & catwalk trends

    Excellent communication & leadership skills

    Experience working with suppliers in India, China
