Overall Purpose of the Role
To support with systems evolution to deliver Disney Parks platform enhancements to reservations and booking systems through API integration.

Work with Technology Project Lead to support development and execution of transformative technology projects, working closely with global stakeholders.


Areas of Responsibility

  • Provide support to Technology Project Lead, and key stakeholders in creating technical specifications, liaising with internal team members and external technology partners, from discovery/development through to solution delivery
  • Build relationships with core technology partners to support key business projects
  • Provide project support on key business tasks, ensuring that project deliverables and responsibilities are completed within agreed cost and timescales
  • Demonstrate technical experience and understanding, plus ability to analyse and problem solve to propose technical solutions to support business and project needs
  • Support systems evolution, working with internal and external system providers to:
  • Analyse stakeholder needs
  • Transform business objectives into structured technical requirements
  • Triage and manage bug fixes
  • Define/oversee user acceptance testing
  • Support endtoend project lifecycle

  • Accountable for contributing to the success of the team

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required

  • Business analysis and technology systems support background, essential, within travel industry, preferable
  • Proven experience in business analyst or equivalent role, with a focus on requirements gathering and shaping systems solutions, desirable
  • Experience with issuetracking tools such as JIRA
  • Experience working within a large, matrix organisation
  • Demonstrable experience of writing clear, comprehensive documentation/specifications
  • Proven experience of building effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, both domestically and internationally

  • Exceptional planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Knowledge of the Disney brand and products and services the Company offers, with the ability to work within brand guidelines

Additional Information

  • Flexibility for some UK, European or international travel may be required
  • Contribution to adhoc projects as the business requires
  • Flexible hours may be required to meet business needs
