Career Makers Recruitment is currently recruiting Parcel Sorters on behalf of our client based in Bristol, BS16 area.

This role is physically demanding & can involve working unsociable hours depending on the demand.

We're looking for individuals that are flexible in their working approach as on occasion you may be asked to stay on after the proposed end time or start earlier.

We're looking for someone that is comfortable with the below

Moving and Sorting Mail
Unloading of HGV Trailers into the warehouse and placing onto sorting belts
Segregating different types of mail
Operating sorting machines
Sorting letters and packets manually
Shift work.
Safety awareness
Sorting parcels into the correct loading areas from a belt using scanners & headsets
Working in a team to safely load vans ready for despatch
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Following standard processes & operating procedures

Required Skills and Experience:

Clear Criminal Record Check
Good understanding of English language
Good quality of spoken English
Physically fit enough to complete and carry out a physically demanding role.
Previous experience within a warehouse environment is preferred.
Able to lift lightweight and heavy parcels, weighing up to 1520kg each.

Hourly Rate & Details of pay:
Shift Monday to Friday: 00:30PM - 9:00AM

Payrate:
£10.59 p/h

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

£10.59 per hour
