We are looking to support them in securing an engaging, dynamic A&D interiors SpecificationSales Manager to focus on 400 top accounts in the London / Great London area.


The Role of A&D Specification Sales Manager
This is a home / field based role covering London / Greater London and Home Counties. As Specification Sales Manager you will sell / specify our clients leading range of manufactured decorative interior products. This is 100% specification led role whereyou will be responsible for winning projects with A&D architects and interior designers. The split will be approx. 80% account management, 20% new business development and you will be responsible for circa 400 top accounts. As Specification Sales Manager youwill be tasked with winning £1m of specification projects per month.

You will be 4 days a week on the road visiting architects and interior designers in central London, one day working from home / administration.


You will supply product information to architects and interior designers such as training, technical advice, colour schemes trend presentations, and support.

The majority of your focus will be on winning commercial projects typically between £50k-£100k.
Customers include commercial offices, numerous hotel groups (e.g. Premier Inn, Holiday Inn Express) as well as the student accommodation sector.

  • Proven field sales specification background within A&D architects and interior designers
  • Ideally sold decorative, tactile/ aesthetically pleasing interior products such as; carpets, curtains, fabrics, flooring, wall coverings, furniture etc
  • Proven account management/ relationships management skills
  • A sociable personality
  • Comfortable building relationships with architects and interior designers
  • Self sufficient problem solver with a learn as you develop attitude
  • Relative sales account management competencies (negotiation, commercial, awareness, decision making)
