An exciting Learning Mentor role has become available, working at a large secondary school in the Birmingham district of Northfield.

** £400 - £450 per week

The Learning Mentor:
For this Learning Mentor role, you must hold a Level 3 Learning Mentor qualification.

It is important that you have experience working in a mainstream secondary setting and can support a range of additional needs, including SEMH needs, Autism, Dyslexia andADHD.

Pupils often exhibit challenging behaviour, so it is important you have excellent classroom management skills and are a strong communicator.


The Learning Mentor Role:


As a Learning Mentor, you will be providing classroom support for pupils, assisting with their learning, and managing challenging behaviour.

You will also be working with SEN pupils who require additional learning and wellbeing support.

It is important thatyou can support the teaching staff with differentiation to suit the level of ability of the pupils you are working with.

As a Learning Mentor, you will also engage in wider-school activities such as trips and break duties.

The School:
This secondary school based in South Birmingham caters for KS3 and KS4 pupils. Behaviour can be challenging, and the school is rated as 'Good' by Ofsted. There is extensive CPD to assist you with your training.
