Specialist grade medical oncologist with an interest in breast


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a doctor with extensive oncology experience to take up a specialist grade post in medical oncology (breast) within the South West Wales Cancer Centre in Swansea.

The successful applicant will join a team of clinical and medical oncologists working across South West Wales. There are excellent opportunities for clinical research and strong links with Swansea University.

Inexpensive properties, good schools and proximity to areas of outstanding natural beauty such as the Gower Peninsula and the Brecon Beacons National Park add to the attractive of living in South West Wales - while London is still only 3 hrs away by train.


The postholder will provide a clinical service, with colleagues, which will include the responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illness.


The post holder will support systemic therapy and work on opening and recruiting to clinical trials for the population of Swansea.

They will share the SACT practice with another oncologist. Radiotherapy will be provided by clinical oncology colleagues.
