Description

The Inbound Inventory Analyst will report into the Head of Warehousing Operations, and will be responsible for planning for inbound stock, forecasting for stock levels, and some elements of capacity planning.

My client are a sector leading wholesale distribution business based in Chester, distributing over 200,000 items per day to and on behalf of major blue chip clients.


Description
The key responsibilities for the role of Inbound Inventory Analyst will be:

  • Work alongside suppliers to effectively plan for the movements and storage locations of inbound stock.
  • Analyse inventory movements to make capacity plans for the operation.
  • Manage goods in schedules and ensure they are updated regularly.
  • Review inbound stock stock and work with Warehousing and Purchasing teams to ensure targets are hit.
  • Develop and improve the inbound side of the business, implementing new practices to ensure maximum capacity efficiency.

Profile

  • Excellent Excel skills, and ideally experience using SAGE or similar.
  • Be analytical and data driven, with good judgement skills.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in warehousing/distribution environment.
  • Stock management and forecasting experience.

Job Offer

  • A salary of up to £35,000 p/a.
  • A Monday to Friday working week, 9:00am 5:30pm.
