Join a growing construction firm.
A unique opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Mason / Masons mate to work with a growing Cornish construction firm learning traditional techniques.
You will work with a great team and will receive a pay rate of £13 - £15 /h depending on experience, which will increase as your skills increase.
Responsibilities:
- Mixing up
- Assissting the mason
- General labouring
- Shadowing the mason, taking full advantage of on the job training
Experience:
- Proven experience on site.
- Proficiency in use of basic tools and site safety.
- Ideally some background knowledge or interest in masonry and plastering.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Excellent problemsolving skills, timekepping and reliabilty.
- Must have own transport and be able to drive.
