The Operations Lead is accountable for Virtuo's operational performance in the UK.

Your time will be spent between managing the daily operations of the fleet and rental experience teams, creating a positive team culture, mentoring your operations managers, and driving continuous improvement in your market.

You will own the operational roadmap that will propel your market to profitability while delivering remarkable customer experience.

Your missions:


Lead a team in delivering exceptional customer experience

  • Responsible for the overall performance and customer experience for Virtuo UK.
  • Run complex, ontheground, daytoday operations in a rigorous manner. Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Ops Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their teams.
  • Build a culture of customer obsession within your team, leading by example and encouraging new initiatives to improve experience.
  • Works closely with other teams (HR, Finance, CX, Security, and your counterparts in other markets) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives.

Drive local cost optimisation and efficiency

  • Responsible for all operational costs in the market and implementing initiatives to reduce repair, parking and prep & convoy costs.
  • Manage a fleet of cars during their whole life cycle, from delivery to return to the car manufacturer, optimising to reduce car costs.
  • Work with the Demand management team in defining the optimum fleet allocation plan, and leading your team in executing the fleet and parking plan.
  • Oversee the management of cleaning partner onboarding, training, monitoring, and retention.

  • 5+ years of experience in an ops role in a dynamic, highgrowth environment
  • Experience managing teams > 5 people with a demonstrable, highperformance output.
  • Able to motivate, set the vision and meaningful goals for the team
  • Startup mindset: entrepreneurial, tenacious, and a rollupyoursleeves attitude
  • Highly organized you are very rigorous, effective at managing deadlines, with strong attention to detail
  • Analytical, confident with numbers and experience with excel
  • Accountable, willing to take initiative, and to learn fast
  • Obsessed with the customer experience and inspired by mobility
  • Fluent in English
