Our prestigious Utilities client based in Warwick have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Finance Admin with proven accounts payable and invoicing experience to join them for an initial 6 month's contract.


Location:
Warwick - Hybrid of 2 days a week in the office
About Our Client
My client is an international electricity company and one of the largest investor-owned Energy companies in the world.

They play a vital role in delivering electricity to many millions of people across Great Britain and North-Eastern US in an efficient, reliable, and safe manner.


Knowledge & Experience Required:


  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven computer literacy with the ability to use MS Office software to at least intermediate standard
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment
  • Able to manage work packages to deliver to deadlines

Desirable:


  • Experience of dealing with Customers or working in a Customer service environment
  • Experience of working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (e.g. SalesForce)
  • Experience of working in a transactional environment, delivering outputs to tight timescales whilst maintaining accuracy
  • Knowledge of UK electricity transmission business and wider regulatory environment
The Role & Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the compilation of charging appendices for customer connection offers, including cost data gathering and associated accuracy checks
  • Data entry and reporting for connections offer/revenue information in our CRM tool
  • Manage the monthly revenue invoicing process through the MyFinance SAP system
  • Manage the Application Fee data gathering process with our Connections colleagues to ensure timely and accurate invoicing of charges to customers
  • Support revenuerelated data entry and verification into our Charging Application in SalesForce and CRM as required
  • Monitor and report on progress of clearing any revenue backlogs
  • Maintain and update as necessary the team's procedural documents (SOP's etc)
  • Support the annual charge setting and biannual securities processes
  • Help coordinate the storage of Commercial Strategy team data centrally, providing support for SharePoint file structure and access management, ensuring information is both easily accessible and managed in accordance with our Data BMS standard.
  • Provide coordination and administrative support where required to the Commercial Strategy Manager and wider team
