Starting salary from £30,490 plus £6710 London Weighting p.a.


Statement of expectation for the role:

To supervise a growing team of Property Officers and be responsible for performance, including undertaking appraisals; welfare and ensuring KPI's are met.


To be responsible for day-to-day operations of the Force's main evidential property store, ensuring that exhibits are managed in accordance with force policies and national guidelines.


The Property Supervisor will play an active role in the development of internal processes and will contribute to good working relationships with Police Officer and external agencies.

The successful applicant will assist in the wider scope of exhibits management, collating and integrating audit reports.


Description of Department:

The Property department is responsible for the safe and secure management of exhibits seized during an investigation.

The Property Team ensures that each exhibit can be retrieved when required and follows strict procedures regarding the chain of custody while items are in police care.

The Property Team closely monitor the retention requirements of each exhibit and undertakes disposal when appropriate.
