W J Meade are looking for a Property Management Accounts Assistant to join our well established Property Management team in Mile End, London. This accounts role will consist of assigning rents, paying landlords and contractors and dealing with general lettings accounts administration across our property portfolio. A background in accounts is desirable but not necessary.

Accounts Administrator Duties:

Receive and allocate rent payments using property management software.
Assign any fees or contractor invoices to the relevant landlords.
Prepare statements and pay landlords.
Complete weekly tenancy rent arrears chasing, working with tenants and informing landlords.
Deal with account enquiries from landlords, tenants and contractors.
Registration, payment & allocation of deposits to the Deposit Protection Scheme.
Complete monthly bank reconcilliations.
Add properties to the property management software system and commence new tenancies.

Accounts Administrator Requirements:

Property management background preferred.
Accounts bakground preferred.
Impeccable communications skills: written and verbal.
Excellent organisational skills.
Selfmotivated, responsible and able to display initiative.
Previous office experience in a busy office environment.
Flexible, eager to learn and take on new challenges.

*Part-Time Role; Hours/ Days to be discussed. Salary will be based on experience and hours.
