Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Commercial Account Handler to join us here at the Jensten Group.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the Account Executive (within a wider team of 5), you will be servicing our General Commercial SME Clients, whether this be setting up new business, completing adjustments or renewals and retention.


Initially working full time in the office, a blend of office and home working will be available on completion of probation.


This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to utilise and continue to develop their Commercial insurance knowledge as part of a successful Commercial Broker.


The role

  • Offering and presenting Commercial insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal and/or new business
  • Dealing with clients' day to day enquiries daily, responding promptly and managing expectations
  • Negotiating and inviting renewal of allocated client's policies
  • Processing midterm adjustments and quarterly declarations
  • Identify and pursue crossselling, upselling opportunities
  • Utilise leads provided to you by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume
  • To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA

About you
As a Commercial Account Handler, you will have previous Commercial insurance knowledge and top Client Servicing skills. You will have strong diary management skills, be able to plan and organise effectively and work to deadlines.


Other skills/requirements:

  • Commercial Insurance experience
  • CII Qualifications, or desire to work towards these (not essential)
  • Experience using Acturis (advantageous)
