Reporting to the Planning Manager, The Planning Controller is responsible for assisting the Planning Manager with the smooth, day-to-day running of the planning dept.

The Planning Controller's principal responsibility is to ensure that client trip requests are

loaded into the relevant systems and dealt with in full before they are handed over to the day to day operations staff.


This will include (list not exhaustive):

Responsibilities

Operations/Service Delivery -Assistance with the safe and timely loading and arranging of clients' trips. Delivery of overflight and landing permits working alongside the Planning Manager; ensuring that these services are delivered in a timely fashion in compliance with the Planning LPM and the relevant clients are kept up to date with permit progress.

Operations/Service Delivery - Assistance with the safe and timely delivery of the future flying programme working alongside the Ops and Fuel Managers;

Operations/Service Delivery - Assistance with any other duties as directed by the Planning Manager/Fuel and Ops Managers to ensure the smooth flying programme.

Operations/Service Delivery - Actively promoting additional Flightworx services including HOTAC and fuel if necessary

Operations/Quality/Safety - responsibility for your own compliant use of the LEON scheduling, SMS and inhouse systems, PPS and Jeppview flight planning, FOS, AFTN, SITA and CFMU systems; ensuring that any safety issues are raised promptly through the company QMS and dealt with effectively.

Supervisory - conducting comprehensive handovers during shift changeovers and prior to and upon return from any periods of absence from the office.

Client Relationship Management - helping to maintain and develop relationships with all Flightworx clients. Assisting to swiftly rectify any operational issue or problem raised by any client coordinating action across Flightworx departments as appropriate.

Communication - responsibility for ensuring that communication between all Flightworx departments and with clients is effective and timely to help achieve client requirements and priorities.

Management - providing support, coaching and mentoring to Operations colleagues, particularly new joiners to the team.

Management - motivating and encouraging colleagues in order to provide a positive working environment for the team and the company.

Pay:
£25,196.00-£32,196.00 per year
