One of the UK's leading exporters of food and drink produce, exporting an exceptional product range to businesses worldwide is currently on the look-out for a Sales Support Advisor to join our teamThis role would suit people who have:
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent Customer Service and attention to detail
- Effective time management, prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative to pick up tasks when needed
- Excellent Computer Skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal systems
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to identify their different needs, providing information and solutions to best meet their requirements
- Work as a team to ensure any queries from clients and Sales Managers are resolved promptly, whilst ensuring that the sales team procedures are followed at all times.
- Prepare quotations to an agreed standard and have a good understanding of the background behind the quote in terms of Inco terms, margins and supplier.
- Ensure that air and sea orders are uploaded and invoiced efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Be proactive to ensure that forms are up to date or adjusted where necessary, checking for any anomalies such as poor margins and unavailable lines.
- Monitor sales orders from start to finish, working with buying team and warehouse to ensure that the order is shipped to the client on time and fulfilled.
- Ensure that all order requirements are completed before the shipment is due to leave and consignment documentation is sent to the client within the agreed timescales.
- Liaising with the relevant Sales Manager to ensure claims are resolved in a timely manner.
- Maintaining appropriate levels of attendance, ensuring that procedure is followed for any absence, working extra hours to complete tasks if required.
- Establishing and maintaining an excellent level of teamwork
