One of the UK's leading exporters of food and drink produce, exporting an exceptional product range to businesses worldwide is currently on the look-out for a Sales Support Advisor to join our team


This role would suit people who have:

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Effective time management, prioritization and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative to pick up tasks when needed
  • Excellent Computer Skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal systems

Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with clients to identify their different needs, providing information and solutions to best meet their requirements
  • Work as a team to ensure any queries from clients and Sales Managers are resolved promptly, whilst ensuring that the sales team procedures are followed at all times.
  • Prepare quotations to an agreed standard and have a good understanding of the background behind the quote in terms of Inco terms, margins and supplier.
  • Ensure that air and sea orders are uploaded and invoiced efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Be proactive to ensure that forms are up to date or adjusted where necessary, checking for any anomalies such as poor margins and unavailable lines.
  • Monitor sales orders from start to finish, working with buying team and warehouse to ensure that the order is shipped to the client on time and fulfilled.
  • Ensure that all order requirements are completed before the shipment is due to leave and consignment documentation is sent to the client within the agreed timescales.
  • Liaising with the relevant Sales Manager to ensure claims are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining appropriate levels of attendance, ensuring that procedure is followed for any absence, working extra hours to complete tasks if required.
  • Establishing and maintaining an excellent level of teamwork
