As a Head of Testing for People First, everyday should be rewarding and mentally challenging.

Working with several teams and direct reports, you'll be responsible for leading all aspects of quality and testing.

You will define and implement the testing strategy that underpins the wider software goals of high-speed development, short lead times and high release frequency.


You'll be one of the senior leaders looking to keep MHR at the forefront of the market through high quality, well tested and a well monitored product, as well as understanding the diverse needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for defining and implementing the Automated Testing Strategy for the entire People First Product.
  • Ensure the proper usage of available tools to gain the maximum benefit of the QA effort. This includes testing tools for functional, performance, automation, etc.
  • Strong communication skills to ensure the vision is communicated to all key stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and direction to all automation and quality engineers
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, colleagues and/or customers
  • Provide authoritative advice and leadership on any aspect of automation, testing and execution
  • Be an advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognized Best Practices.
  • Motivate the teams, recognize good talent, and bring out the best out of everyone.
  • Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact for the QA teams

About you:


  • Proven experience of implementing, using, and developing automated test capabilities and tooling
  • Familiarity with highintegrity realtime systems.
  • Experience of working with largescale and complex integration programmes, including integrating 3rd party systems or components
  • Experience managing testing departments or testing functions, managing large and complex activities and processes.
  • Excellent understanding of the Testing Lifecycle and the different types of testing
  • Experience leading teams in Agile DevOps environment
  • Knowledge of working with, and testing Microservices
