Description

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain a userfriendly and responsive website that provides an excellent user experience. This includes ensuring that the website is easy to navigate, that the content is wellorganised, and that the overall design is visually appealing.
  • Work with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into code. This requires a strong understanding of both design and code, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both designers and developers.
  • Implement new features and enhancements to the website. This includes adding new functionality, improving the performance of the website, and fixing bugs.
  • Fix bugs and improve the overall user experience. This requires a good understanding of how users interact with the website, as well as the ability to identify and resolve problems.
  • Stay uptodate on the latest trends in front end development. This requires a commitment to continuous learning and the ability to adapt to new technologies
  • The front end developer should be able to work with the wider Technology team to ensure that security and performance are optimised.
  • Be mindful of accessibility and user experience standards. These standards are designed to ensure that websites are accessible to people with disabilities, and that they provide a good user experience for everyone
  • Implement security measures to prevent cyber attacks
  • Ensure that the website loads quickly and performs smoothly.
  • Use efficient coding techniques and optimise the website for search engines.
  • Monitor the website's performance and identify any areas that can be improved.

Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field desirable.
  • Experience: Up to 3+ years of experience in front end development

Technical Skills:


  • Good level of proficiency of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with various CMS
  • Experience with version control systems.

Skills:


  • Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
